The Akoon Park in Tarkwa will host a blockbuster Ghana Premier League matchday 25 encounter on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 10, 2024, between Medeama SC and Accra Hearts of Oak.
Both sides are in search of a win following a run of inconsistent performances. Medeama, in their last five matches in the league, have won once, lost three times, and settled for a draw.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak, under Ivorian head coach Aboubaka Outtara, endured back-to-back defeats in their last five games against league leaders FC Samartex and Bibiani GoldStars.
The two giants have had close contests in their past matches without drawing a single game. Despite Medeama’s resounding 5-1 victory over their opponents in the 2022–23 season at the Accra Sports Stadium, Outtara’s men have recorded three victories in their last four meetings.
Foster Bastiours will take charge of the game as the center referee, supported by his assistants, Paul Atimaka, Richard Nartey, and Juliet Appiah.
