Ghanaian forward Osei Mawuli signs for Sebeta City in Ethiopia

Ghanaian attacker Osei Mawuli has joined Sebeta City FC in the Ethiopia Premier League on a short-term deal, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.

Mawuli completed the move on Saturday after signing a six-month contract with the club.

The 31-year-old is moving to Sebeta after leaving Fasil Kenema where he spent only one season.

Mawuli moved to Ethiopia in September 2018 joining Mekelle Kenema FC following his departure from Asante Kotoko SC.

He won the Ethiopian Championship with Mekelle in the 2018/2019 season where he scored 10 goals in 14 appearances.

Mawuli spent about five years in Israel before returning to Ghana in February 2018.

He played for Hapoel Ashkelon, Kirat Shmona, Hapoel Haifa, Hapoel Bnei Lod, Hapoel Nof HaGalil and Maccabi Shaaraim during his days in Israel.
