The Ghana Tourism Authority has officially joined Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, CEO of Askof Productions Limited, in her effort to break the Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon.
Ghana Tourism said in a statement given exclusively to GhanaWeekend that, in coordination with the collaboration, the venue for the attempt has been relocated from the Aviation Social Centre to Akwaaba Village, which is being built near the Airport Roundabout.
The statement attributes the site shift to the great public interest in the event.
“The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), official partners of the forthcoming Guinness World Record [Longest singing by an individual) breaking attempt wishes to inform the general public that the event, originally slated for the Aviation Social Centre in Accra will now be held at the Akwaaba Village being constructed near the Airport Round About, Accra December 24 to 27”.
