Twenty-six people have been arrested by the Ghana Police Service for offenses using toy guns.

In addition to helping with investigations, the suspects will appear in court to face charges.

As part of their investigation into the threat, the police announced in a statement that they had recovered a number of toy firearms from the accused.

Currently, police are conducting nationwide operations to capture those involved in this expanding trend that has been developing in some regions of the nation.

“We would like to once again assure the public that the Police will do all that it takes for our beloved country to continue to be at peace with herself,” the police said in the press statement.
