The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has awarded the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and Egyptian Government the rights to host the TotalEnergies CAF Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations 2025.
This comes on the back of the withdrawal of hosting rights by the Fédération Ivoirienne de Football (FIF) and the Government of Côte d’Ivoire due to certain unforeseen circumstances.
Prior to awarding the official rights to Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt had also submitted a bid to host the competition which they lost.
The Black Satellites of Ghana will kick off their campaign against Côte d’Ivoire on April 27, as the final is scheduled for May 18, 2025.
