In the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, Crystal Palace defeated Burnley 2-0 thanks to a goal from Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp and Tyrick Mitchell.

Jeffery Schlupp started the game with compatriot Jordan Ayew at Turf Moor as he gave the Eagles an early lead against the run of play, even though they were largely on the defensive for the first twenty-two minutes of play with an assist from Ayew Jordan.
