In a night brimming with glamour, innovation, and digital excellence at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Max TV, a subsidiary of IMAX Media Group, emerged triumphant as it clinched the prestigious Digital Broadcasting Innovation of the Year award at the 14th Digital Innovation Awards (DIA).
The annual event—formerly known as the Ghana Information Technology & Telecom Awards (GITTA)—has grown into a Pan-African celebration of transformative achievements across various digital sectors.
This year’s edition was hosted under the patronage of Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, with leading digital and technology figures across Africa in attendance.
Max TV’s recognition comes as a reward for its groundbreaking strides in digital content delivery, immersive viewer experiences, and forward-thinking broadcasting strategies. In an industry increasingly shaped by innovation, Max TV stood tall for its exceptional use of multimedia technology, creative storytelling, and expansive digital reach across platforms.
Receiving the award on behalf of Max TV, IMAX Media Group expressed their gratitude to the organisers, InstinctWave, and reaffirmed the station’s commitment to driving digital excellence in the broadcasting space.
“This award is a testament to the incredible work done by our passionate team. At Max TV, we believe innovation is not just about technology but about connecting people through meaningful content,” they said.
The DIA awards, celebrating over a decade of impact, honored visionaries and trailblazers across telecommunications, fintech, health, education, and broadcasting. Max TV’s win reinforces its position as a frontrunner in redefining television for the digital age.
