2026 World Cup Qualifier: Otto Addo Labels Ghana vs. Madagascar a ‘Small Final,’ Urges 100% Effort
Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has emphasized the importance of Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Madagascar, calling it a “small final.” He has urged his players to give their maximum effort in the crucial encounter.
Ghana currently leads Group I with 12 points, while Madagascar trails by just two. The high-stakes match is set for Monday, March 24, 2025, at Al Hoceima Stadium in Morocco.
“I know everybody is excited, everybody was happy about our last win, but we still have a long way to go. We need everyone to be on their toes. We don’t need 98% or 99%, we need 100%,” Addo stated.
The Black Stars will aim to maintain their top spot and strengthen their qualification chances with a decisive victory.
