Ten-man Bayern Munich stunned the reigning European champions Paris St-Germain in Paris on matchday four.

Luis Diaz was the hero and villain for the Bavarians in what turned out to be a pulsating encounter at the Parc des Princes.

The Colombia international winger scored both goals for Bayern before foolishly getting himself sent off for a challenge that injured Achraf Hakimi.

Soon after netting his and Bayern’s second minutes to halftime, Diaz lunged into a dangerous two-footed challenge on Hakimi.

The Atlas Lions’ captain was visibly in an enormous amount of pain and in tears, a sight that would have his countrymen extremely worried as the 2025 AFCON kicks off in December.
