The head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo, embarked on a wellness check on two of his players at Leicester City and one at Stade Rennes.
As the international football calendar for the year 2024 came to an end, the Ghanaian gaffer visited the captain of the Black Stars, Jordan Ayew, and injured winger, Fatawu Issahaku, on Thursday, December 19.
Fatawu is currently undergoing rehabilitation after suffering a serious knee injury in Ghana’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola in Luanda.
The winger is expected to miss Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March 2025.
Otto Addo also paid a visit to versatile fullback Alidu Seidu, who on Monday, December 16, had undergone a successful surgery in France.
