Karim Zito is one step away from meeting one of his targets as the interim head coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
Kotoko took on Berekum Chelsea, who are coached by a past winner of the MTN FA Cup, at the TnA Stadium, for the second semi-final of the cup competition.
The tense and fierce battle was decided by the header of Albert Amoah in the 80th minute. Spectators and the bench of Kotoko erupted into wild celebrations after Amoah met Patrick Asiedu’s cross from the right wing with a thumping header.
Kotoko will face Access Bank Division League side Golden Kicks, who overcame Attram De Visser 3-1 in the first semi-final, in the final of the competition.
