Abdul Fatawu Issahku has made a return to the Black Stars squad for the games against Comoros and the Central African Republic.

The Leicester City man had been out of action for most of the 2024/25 season due to a serious injury.

Issahaku’s return to the field has been nothing but immense glory, featuring in all eight matches in the 2025/26 EFL season and scoring two goals with an assist.

With Ghana at the top of Group I of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Otto Addo has assembled the current best Ghanaian stars to ensure qualification for the global event.
