Manchester City star forward Antoine Semenyo is ready to achieve glory with his beloved Ghana.
The Ghanaian international’s rise to stardom at the club and country level has become one of the most inspiring stories in football.
Ahead of the coming 2026 FIFA World Cup, which would start in June, Semenyo expressed confidence in the Black Stars of Ghana facing off against the top countries at the event.
“I don’t think it changes anything for me, but I know that playing against my friends, I want to prove my point. I want to show that we are a top nation, we can play together, and we can beat all the top teams,” Semenyo said.
The Black Stars are currently in camp for the pre-tournament friendly against Wales after losing to Mexico on Saturday, May 23, 2026.
Ghana’s opener against Panama will come off at the BMO Stadium in Toronto, Canada, at 11PM GMT.
