Police Launch Probe Into Student Attack

Date:

The Ghana Police Service has reacted to the viral video of an attack on a student in the Awutu Senya District this past weekend.

The student was seen in the video being pelted with stones by other students, with one appearing in the uniform of Swedru Business School, while another student tried to calm the situation.

The police assured in a strong-worded statement on social media that investigations have begun into the assault of the Obrachere Senior High Technical School, who reportedly lost his life.

“The Ghana Police Service has sighted a viral video in which a group of people are seen pelting stones at a student.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and further developments will be communicated in due course.

The Service strongly condemns the violence and assures the public that all perpetrators will be identified and brought to justice.”
