Renowned gospel musician, Brother Sammy, has asserted that every first marriage is a mistake.

According to him, many first marriages are from either sympathy or recommendation and not self-actualisation.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, the “Samaria Obaa” hitmaker stated that first marriages mostly did not work, the reason is that when men get money, they opt for another woman.

‎”If you want to achieve greatness early, disassociate yourself from women because every first marriage is a mistake. This is because you can get someone pregnant and you will be forced by your family to marry the person,” he asserted.

Brother Sammy alluded to that being the reason rich people opt for polygamous marriage and charged both men and women to get rich before settling down.
‎
‎”That’s why when a person becomes richer, they go in for another wife. If you want to marry right, get rich first. This advice is for both men and women. Get rich before marrying,” he added.
