The National Armwrestling Team, affectionately known as the Golden Arms, is inviting members of the media and the general public to a special Media Workout session today, Friday, July 18, 2025, as part of final preparations ahead of their departure to Nigeria for the 2025 African Arm-wrestling Championship in Abuja.
The event, scheduled for 11:00 AM at the Junior Officer’s Mess, Ghana Police Headquarters, aims to showcase the team’s readiness, strategy, and spirit ahead of their continental campaign.
It also offers a unique behind-the-scenes opportunity for the media to interact with the athletes, coaching staff, and officials of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation.
Led by President Charles Osei Asibey, the Golden Arms are determined to make history and solidify Ghana’s dominance in the sport with their eyes firmly set on gold.
The team has been in intensive training over the past few months, and this Media Workout is expected to highlight the progress, power, and unity that define Team Ghana.
“We’re not just going to participate; we’re going to conquer,” said a confident team member. “This workout is a preview of the strength we’re taking to Abuja.”
The Ghana Armwrestling Federation encourages widespread media coverage and public support as the team prepares to fly the national flag high once again.
