The much-anticipated TZ Festival, set for Sunday, July 6, is set to receive a major boost as the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Linda Obenewaa Akweley Ocloo, has confirmed her attendance at the cultural celebration.
Her presence is expected to elevate the prestige of the event, which celebrates northern Ghanaian heritage and community through traditional food (Tuo Zaafi), music, dance, and cultural exhibitions.
The festival serves not only as a unifying moment for people of northern descent in the Greater Accra Region but also as a national platform that promotes peace, diversity, and cultural pride.
Hon. Ocloo, known for her grassroots engagement and commitment to cultural inclusivity, will join chiefs, opinion leaders, entertainers, and thousands of patrons at the event.
Sources close to the organizers say she is expected to deliver a keynote address reinforcing the importance of cultural identity in national development.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Regional Minister,” one organizer said. “Her support affirms that this festival is not just about food or music—it’s about community building, and the government is taking notice.”
The event will take place at the Tecno Headquarters Forecourt, starting at 8:00 a.m., and will feature live performances.
With Hon. Ocloo’s appearance, organizers anticipate a record turnout and are working closely with security and logistical teams to ensure a safe and vibrant celebration.
