The Academic Board of the University of Ghana has sanctioned 115 students for acts of misconduct and examination malpractice.
The sanctions, divided into two main parts — general misconduct and examination malpractice — were detailed in the Office of the Registrar’s notice on June 16, 2025.
111 students, including Mr Ramsey Akoto Junior, Mr Bernard Owusu and others, were awarded Grade Z for examination malpractice, while a few of the offenders got expelled from the university.
14 students, including Mr Richmond Opoku and Mr Kinglsey Asante, received a two-year academic suspension with retroactive effect.
The school advised students to conduct themselves in a “befitting” manner and familiarise themselves with the regulations.
