Veteran Nollywood actor Segun Arinze has vehemently denied claims that he is unwell and in need of financial assistance to foot his medical bills.
The rumors sparked recently on social media when images of him with a bloated stomach surfaced, prompting widespread concern.
In the light of this, the renowned actor shared a video of himself on Instagram to reassure his fans and followers that he was in the best of health.
He explained that the disputed photos were taken during a movie shoot and did not reflect his real physical condition.
Arinze further expressed gratitude to those who reached out in worry and cautioned the public against falling prey to scams.
“I want to thank my fans, friends, and associates all over the world for reaching out to me through calls and WhatsApp messages to find out how I’m doing. As you can see, I’m very fine. I’m fit as a fiddle.”
Those pictures flying around were taken from a film set. I don’t know why some people decided to cause mischief with them. I will continue to do my work, I will continue to contribute to the growth of my industry and Nigeria. God bless you. I love you,” he stated.
The veteran actor stated that he did not need any financial support for medical expenses, urging everyone to verify information before acting on it.
