ANNOUNCEMENT: Amasaman Water Supply Interruption for Maintenance

Date:

Ghana Water Limited (GWL) – Accra West Region has announced a temporary disruption in water supply for the Amasaman District due to critical maintenance work at the Nsawam Treatment Plant.

The planned maintenance will take place from March 1 to March 7, 2025, and is aimed at improving water production and overall supply efficiency.

During this period, residents in Amasaman Township, Abehenease, Toman, Sapeiman, Pobiman, Obeyeyie, Daaresalam, Fise, Amanfrom, parts of Pokuase, and surrounding areas will experience interruptions in their water supply.

GWL has advised affected residents to store enough water for daily use until the maintenance work is completed. The company has assured the public that efforts will be made to restore normal water supply as soon as possible.

For further inquiries, residents can contact Solace A. M. Akomeah, Communications Manager, GWL Accra West Region at 024 445 5539 or via email at masolace@gwcl.com.gh.

GWL regrets the inconvenience and appreciates the patience of residents as they work to enhance water distribution in the district.
