OBITUARY: Westside Travel CEO to Bury Mother January 30, Final Rites on February 1

Mr. Eric Owusu Agyemang, the Chief Executive Officer of Westside Travel Services, is preparing to bid a final farewell to his beloved mother, Maám Agnes Adutwumwaa, with burial arrangements set for Thursday, January 30, 2025.

The Aduana Abusuapanin family, together with loved ones and friends, is deeply mourning the loss of a cherished matriarch who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital. She was 62 years old.

Maám Agnes Adutwumwaa was more than a mother; she was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and love to her family and community. Her nurturing spirit, resilience, and unwavering support played a pivotal role in shaping the life of her son, Mr. Owusu Agyemang, who has often credited her for being his source of inspiration and guidance.

As the CEO of Westside Travel Services, Mr. Owusu Agyemang has steered the company to great success, and he attributes much of his achievements to the solid foundation and values instilled in him by his late mother.

The funeral arrangements reflect the family’s deep respect and reverence for Maám Agnes Adutwumwaa’s memory. In accordance with their wishes, there will be no wake-keeping. A private burial service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Nsuta-Duamo Cemetery, offering an intimate moment for family and close friends to say their solemn goodbyes.

The final funeral rites will take place on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 12:30 PM at ATTC, Kokomlemle, Accra. This event will serve as a celebration of Maám Adutwumwaa’s remarkable life and the indelible impact she left on her family and community. Guests are requested to wear black attire as a mark of respect and solidarity with the grieving family.

The Aduana Abusuapanin family warmly invites friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to join them in commemorating the life and legacy of Maám Agnes Adutwumwaa. Her compassion, strength, and love have left an enduring imprint on the hearts of all who knew her.
