Jadon Sancho, whose loan move from Manchester United was completed a day after deadline day, says he wants to imitate his Chelsea idols and “bring excitement” to Stamford Bridge.
Sancho, 24, an England international, signed a contract with Chelsea that will see Chelsea cover most of his wages, but not all of them, and play for the Blues until the end of the season.
The Blues have also sign an obligation to sign him on a contract worth between £20 and £25 million by the end of the summer.
He stated in an interview with the club’s website: “My idols growing up were Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and now I have the opportunity to play for this club like them. It’s a great feeling.”
