The current champions of the Ghana Premier League, FC Samartex 1996 held their first training session on Cameroonian soil on Thursday after arriving on Wednesday.
The team contingent consist of General Manager, Edmund Ackah and 18 players and coaching staff conducted the training session at the Bepanda Omnisport Annex Stadium ahead of the match in Douala on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Victoria United players have already settled in Douala to acclimatize ahead of the face off with the Timber Boys.
Head coach Nurudeen Amadu will be targeting a good result at the end of the game as he aims to replicate Medeama SC by also qualifying for the group stages of the 2024-25 CAF Confederation Cup.
