On the evening of Monday, August 5, 2024, the Ghana Police Service arrested two suspects in connection with the death of a young man in Sabong Zongo in the Volta Region.
The deceased, identified as Maruan, believed to be in his early twenties, was attacked by Kadel and Bube for allegedly stealing money belonging to them, according to eyewitnesses.
A tricycle taxi operator, who was later arrested, aided one of the brothers, Kadel, in sending the lifeless body of Maruan to the Ho Teaching Hospital, after which the doctor on duty swiftly alerted the police.
The police mounted an intense search for the suspects before finally getting hold of them, while the tricycle taxi operator was released later on.
