Reggae/dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has responded to the artiste manager’s diss song “Murder Line,” which he released on January 4, 2024.
Mr. Logic and Shatta Wale’s beef started recently after the Afro-dancehall musician listed eight individuals on Facebook whom he claimed were hindering the growth of the music industry.
The list included Akwasi Aboagye, Andy Dosty, Arnold, Ola, Mr. Logic, Bullgod, Sally, and Abeiku Santana.
After Bullgod vowed to haunt Shatta Wale like a ghost, the “Melissa” hitmaker, in a live Facebook video, talked against Bullgod and Mr. Logic, addressing them as beggars and adulterers.
That led both Logic and Shatta to engage in heated exchanges on social media, where both traded harsh verbal words and accusations.
Mr. Logic denied Shatta Wale’s accusations and confessed how he helped Shatta Wale when he was homeless and had little to feed on.
He sent the argument into song composition, in which he dissed Shatta and narrated how he coined the “dancehall king” for Shatta Wale for the artiste to become renowned with that trade tag and song.
Shatta Wale, who felt insulted, also took his grievances to the studios to release a song titled Digital Beggar to tell his side of the story.
The dancehall artiste tackled Mr. Logic’s personal issues and accused him of being a hypocrite and a parasite.
He also claimed that Mr. Logic was jealous of his success and fame and mocked Mr. Logic’s manner of singing, saying that his diss song was poorly done.
Shatta Wale’s song has received mixed reactions from fans and critics, with some praising Shatta Wale for his witty and savage lyrics and others criticizing him for engaging in beef with Mr. Logic.
