MAX ENTERTAINMENT: Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, R2bees to rock Taste of Ghana festival

Date:

Reggae-dancehall musician, Shatta Wale is headlining the Taste of Ghana festival to climax the concert on Wednesday, December 27 at the Forecourt of the State House, Accra.

Other musicians billed to perform with him during the night include R2Bees, EL, Wendy Shay, Eno Barony, Adina, Fancy Gaddam, Kofi Jamar, and Alapta One.

Prior to the concert, there would be a Carols Night with Samini and Joyful Way Incorporated, which would be laced with fashion shows from six designers.

The event will also serve as a platform for Ghanaians, the diaspora, and tourists to connect and explore diverse commercial and investment opportunities in the country.

Patrons will be treated to more than just musical performances, as the festival boasts a diverse array of attractions, including a masquerade procession, dance performances, and art exhibitions to add layers of cultural richness to the event.

Additionally, local vendors will also line the venue and offer an array of traditional Ghanaian dishes and products.

Taste of Ghana started in 2020 as the signature Christmas program from the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) and the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), with support from Beyond the Return Secretariat (BTR) and the Ministry of Information.

This year’s event is themed “GH: The Africa Dream.” It will, among other things, showcase the distinct and authentic richness of Ghanaian heritage through music, food, arts, and culture.

In furtherance of efforts to consistently engage members of the diaspora community to leverage its enormous resource potential for Ghana’s development agenda and to promote investments in Ghana through entertainment, tourism, and culture,.
