Talented gospel Musician Patience Nyarko says musicians whose dressing exceeds the singing ministry are questionable.
According to her, musicians are marketing the word of God and not themselves, so they have to focus on the ministry rather than themselves.
Speaking in a media interview, Patience Nyarko noted that some musicians have given more attention to their outlook at the expense of the ministry.
“As a gospel musician, you have something that you are selling, and what are you selling? You are selling Christ; that’s what you are selling,” she noted.
While the “W’afom Kwan” hitmaker indicated that the gospel is paramount, she also said it was normal to look good but not to go beyond.
“If you want to dress and look good, go ahead with it, but if the dressing supersedes Christ that you’re selling, then you have a question mark,” she stated.
Patience Nyarko therefore called on fellow musicians to be guided by their ways and propagate the word of God through music and not through personal beauty and appearance.
“Too much of everything is bad, so anything you do in excess, people will find fault with it, and so we should be guided that we have a mission to accomplish,” she added.
