MAX GPL: KOTOKO DEFEATS MISERABLE KOTOKU ROYALS 3-1

Date:

Rocky Dwamena secured a 3-1 win for Kumasi Asante Kotoko over already relegated Kotoku Royals in the final fixture of match day 31 of the 2022/23 BetPawa Premier League at Dawu.

The Porcupine Warriors took the lead 10 minutes thanks to their Cameroonian import, George Rodrigue Mfegue, before extending it 18 minutes later.

Richard Dzikoe pulled one back for the Royals in the 35th minute of the first half to salvage a bit of pride for the bottom club.

Youngster Rocky Dwamena put the game to bed after scoring in the 51st minute to hand Kotoko a well-deserved victory.

Asante Kotoko are now 4th on the league table and will face Karela United on Sunday.
