David and Helen went to Kai’s place to find out what happened to Jia’s child. Kai told them everything about how Harry took the baby and lied that he was dead. He took the baby to Lucy in exchange for money. David and Helen both suspected that the boy could be Michael but Kai told them the DNA test came back negative. Harry was nowhere to be found but David said he would look for him. He also told Kai that Harry would have to go to prison for what he had done.
As Adam was taking Michael to school, the boy told him that he missed David. He also asked that Adam talk to Dana so that she could let him see his father. Adam called Dana and asked her to let Michael see David even once a week. Dana was surprised because Adam did not like David. Adam however explained that he just wanted to make Michael happy.
Lucy went to Bali with her friends but she called Manny to make sure he had gotten rid of the DNA results. Manny told her that they were safely locked in his drawer but he was already feeling guilty for lying to Adam. Lucy told him to destroy the results before he felt too guilty and told Adam the truth.
Dana was going into Manny’s office when she overheard their call. She asked for Manny’s trash before it was disposed and saw the torn document. She pieced it back together and found out that the DNA test was 99.9% positive.
Dana went home to sulk and drink but did not tell anyone what she found out. Michael went to speak to Dana but she shouted at him and told him to go to sleep. Michael began to cry and Dana immediately apologized to him.
Amanda dressed up and went to see Adam at his office. She had set up an appointment with him but Adam asked his secretary to cancel it. He was therefore flustered to see her walk into his office. He told her never to walk into his office without his permission ever again and told her to leave.
Manny and Gab went into Adam’s office to talk about a project. They found Amanda there and she stood up to leave. Adam asked Gab why both of them were working there and he said it was just a coincidence. Adam asked Gab the name of his father, to make sure it wasn’t him. He had a one night stand with Amanda 25 years before and suspected that Amanda and Gab had other intentions.
David and Jia ran into each other at Carol’s house. They wanted to talk to her but she had gone to Bali with Lucy. They talked to the Shaman instead, who happened to be Carol’s mother. The shaman told them that their long search will soon be over.
When Carol arrived back, she was told that Jia and David had been to her house. She immediately called Lucy but she didn’t answer her phone.
When Lucy arrived home, Dana finally told her about the DNA test. Lucy dragged her away from the house because she did not want them to talk about it at home. When they were out, Lucy tried to explain that she took Michael for Dana’s sake. She had been devastated from the accident and they almost lost her during the coma and Michael brought her comfort, that’s why she had lied about his identity. Dana was furious that Lucy let her raise David’s and Jia’s child. Dana told Lucy that she ruined her life.
