Jia and Kai went to Empire Builders to get Jia’s things from the office. When they were there, Kai went to see Adam at his office and gave back all the things he had given them. She returned the titles to her house, the karaoke bar and the jewerelry because Adam had decided to disown Jia.
Kai also pointed out that he should have listened to Jia instead of being the first to judge her. They were interrupted by Adam’s secretary because Adam had another meeting. Adam asked Kai to wait for him so that they could talk about the issue.
After Lucy saw the CCTV video of Jia and David kissing, she went to Adam’s office to talk to him. She found Kai there instead and the two of them immediately started arguing. Lucy told Kai that her daughter took after her because she was having an affair with David.
When Jia was done packing, she went looking for Kai but she was told that Kai went to see Adam. When she arrived at the office, Kai and Lucy were pulling each other’s hair. Jia tried to stop them but Lucy attacked her instead.
Adam was signing a new merger with new partners and the press. They all walked into the cat fight and the press began taking pictures of the scene. Adam apologized and said it was only a family issue. Jia stormed out of the room with Kai and Lucy took care of the press by asking for their cameras. She instead bought them new ones.
Lucy asked Adam why she did not tell her about David and Jia. Adam said there was no need to because there would only be problems. He added that Jia had resigned and was going abroad but Lucy said that Jia deserved more.
Adam told Lucy not to interfere with Jia because she was not her child. He also asked Lucy to tell him if she had any problems with Jia and Kai instead of confronting them.
David tried to get in contact with Jia because he did not want her to take all the blame for what happened. No one told him where to find her.
Kai decided to leave for Singapore with Jia but they told everyone that they were going to Australia. Jia however left for Vigan to distress before they left. David had gone back to Manila and secretly followed her.
David approached Jia when she had a flat tire but she asked him to stay away. She went to drink at a bar and David joined her there too. Jia tried to get him to leave but she was too drunk. David grabbed her before she fell and kissed her. The two of them later went to a hotel and slept together.
Dana had a dream about David leaving her and suddenly opened her eyes. Lucy was with her and called the doctors to check on her. Everyone soon found out that Dana had woken up. Kai called Jia to tell her the news while Helen called David. Jia got away from David and asked him to forget about her. David said that he loved her but Jia told him to focus on his wife because she was now awake.
