Lorenzo sees Matteo leaving from the resort and wonders what he was doing there.
Sita is rushed to the hospital for treatment, Lucas is losing his patients as the doctors fails to tell him what’s wrong with his mother, the rest of the family members including Irma and Bert receives treatment.
Isagani inquires about Sita from Dulce, and she tells her things will get more complicated when she happens to get internal bleeding.
On the other hand, Lorenzo assures his parents that whoever is behind the attack will pay.
Menandro meets the bomb guy in his car and he tells Menandro about how the bomb worked and the number of injured victims, Menandro tells him he will pay him only if someone die from the explosion and he should remember to pin the blame on Matteo.
At the hospital, the doctor and Dulce tells the family that Sita is in a critical condition and needs blood, Lucas is willing to give all his blood to his mother, Enzo and Gani offers to donate too.
Pilar meets Menandro at a club, she congratulates him on his success about the bombing, she starts her usual lectures again and Menandro threatens her to get lost so she leaves.
The new good guy, Connor gets coffee for Diane and she starts her silly speech saying she is use to explosions like gossip and Relationships explosions but not this kind of explosion, she realized Connor isn’t paying attention so she asked why and he tells her he believes Matteo is the one behind the bombing.
Talking about Matteo, he is seen sitting in his house feeling guilty about what happened to Sita, he says
“no the bomb shouldn’t have gone where it went, Mrs. Sita can’t die, i won’t have it.”
Menandro stare at her from behind and tells himself he will destroy the Cardinals and make sure to get everything back from Matteo.
Enzo reports to the police about his suspicions on Matteo, and asks them to investigate him.
As soon as they leave, Connor comes there and tried to convince Enzo that sending Matteo to jail is a cheap thing, he suggests they should go after him but Enzo disagree and Connor tells him he is going after Matteo.
In a different scene, the police brief Connor and Diane about the attack, Connor is sure it’s Matteo behind it since the bomb looks expensive. just then, other police comes there and tells them they are done reviewing the CCTV footage but saw nothing.
Diane plans to increase security; Connor says he won’t forgive Matteo if he is the one behind the attack.
Roman consoles a devastated Lucas, and tells him how much he loves him.
Later, Lucas tells Isagani that he saw Matteo at the resort the time the bomb went off, Gani tells him to rather focus on his mom’s recovery.
The doctor informs the family that Sita needs to undergo an operation immediately, and there is 50:50 chance that she will survive.
Lucas cries making all the rest cry too.
Enzo goes to see Dulce off at the hospital, he tells her he saw Matteo at the resort and if it turns out Matteo is behind the bomb attack then things will get messy, he asks Dulce if she is ready for that. She looks on.
Lucas goes into Sita’s ward, he cries seeing her mother unconscious and tells her to fight and get better, he tells her how much he loves her.
The doctors come and tells him they need to take Sita for the operation.
When Dulce gets home, and tells Matteo that they saw him at the resort when the bomb explored.
She makes Matteo feels more guilty by telling him about all the number of injured people and Sita’s condition.
At the hospital the next day, the doctor tells the Cardinals that they didn’t push on with the operation because her body can’t take it, Lucas gets furious and asks her if her mom will survive.
The doctor ignored him and tells Roman and Solded that Sita wants to talk to them first.
Solded and Roman goes to see Sita, and she tells them to take good care of Lucas because she knows she won’t survive this.
They promise her they will do everything possible to make Lucas happy. they leave.
Lucas comes inside, (i won’t write this scene because i skipped it, my heart can’t bear to see Sita and Lucas crying)
As they were talking and crying, Sita slowly closed her eyes, Lucas shouts for doctors and they ask Lucas to step outside.
The doctors tried but couldn’t revive Sita.
Lucas comes and inform the family that Sita is gone, they all cry and console Lucas.
