The much anticipated radio interschool program, “School Connect,” is set to come live on Max 89.7 FM this Saturday, September 21, at 8:00 a.m.
It will also stream live on various social media platforms of Max TV and Max FM, including max.com.gh, as well as Maximum FM in Takoradi.
The weekly program will this week see the participation of six alumni from St. Peters, St. Augustine’s, Presbyterian Secondary School (PRESEC), Mfantsipim, Accra Academy and Adisadel College.
Alumni of the said schools are expected to share their cherished memories about the school and what they have done to help build and improve the schools.
Speaking to the host of the show in an interview, Tony Bebli said the Schools Connect program served as a networking platform to offer opportunities for alumni of various schools to reconnect with old friends and celebrate the enduring bonds formed during school days.
He said it also served as a means to help various schools that needed developmental projects for the students to reconnect and help provide for the school.
“Schools Connect has created platforms for alumni from various schools to establish their old bonds while offering employment opportunities. Students reconnect, and those who are heads of various companies even link the young ones and give them job offers,” he added.
The program, Bebli said, was laudable and urged old students who had not participated yet to link up with his team to be part of it.
