2022 World Cup: We have the quality to match Portugal – Otto Addo

Date:

Otto Addo, the head coach of the Black Stars, has claimed that his squad have the necessary skills to compete with Portugal in Group H’s opening match of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Portugal is one of the heavy favorites to win the World Cup because of their exceptional talent.

The German-trained player stated the Black Stars will need to be brave against the Portuguese team despite their quality during a press conference prior to the game.

“We have the quality to play with them. Surely, we have to be very brave,” he said.

Fernando Santos, the head coach of Portugal, selected a faltering lineup for the competition that included Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Pepe, Joao Cancelo, Rafael Leo, Joao Felix, and a host of other well-known players.

Thomas Partey, Kudus Mohammed, Inaki Williams, Andre Ayew, and Jordan Ayew are just a handful of the well-known figures Ghana will look to for leadership.

At Stadium 974 on Thursday, November 24, 2022, Ghana will face Portugal (Rass Abou Aboud).
