2022/23 Season: Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League kicks off on Friday

The Northern and Southern Sectors will host the inaugural weekend of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League from October 7–10, 2022.

Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the reigning champions, will start the Northern Zone’s championship defense at home against Northern Ladies at Techiman.

The Southern Zone’s top matchup is between two giants, Hasaacas Ladies and Berry Ladies, at Gyandu Park in Sekondi.

When Faith Ladies kick off their season on the road in Ajumako against Soccer Intellectuals, they will be looking to compete for a spot at the top of the table after impressing in their maiden season after finishing second in the southern zone.

Essiam Socrates and Ridge City, two recently promoted teams, will play in the southern zone, while Candy Soccer Academy and Tamale Super Ladies battle in the northern zone.

Last season, Sea Lions and Immigration Ladies were demoted from the Southern Sector, while Kumasi Sports Academy and FC Savannah were demoted from the Northern Zone.
