Renowned musician Emmanuel Kwamina Amonoo known by his stage name Quamina MP says those seeing the creative sector as unserious are not well abreast with the art and works that go into it.
According to him, the sector involves lots of brains and creativity which is beyond what people think it is.
Speaking in an interview with Max Drive in Accra on Tuesday, to react to the speech made by the Deputy Minority whip during John Dumelo’s vetting, Quamina MP stated that it was a wrong
notion for Habib Iddrisu to suggest that the sector was unserious.
“Whoever makes mention of stuff like that doesn’t really know what goes into our work,” he said.
The “Amanfour girls” hitmaker said when he started his music, his mother thought he had no aim in life but it got to a point, she began to understand him and his craft.
He then charged stakeholders to support the creative sector as it has the tendency to boost the economy.
