Turkish Giants Target Jonas Adjetey

Date:

FC Basel Ghanaian defender Jonas Adjetey is attracting attention from Turkish Super Liga team Trabzonspor.

According to the newspaper Fanatik, Trabzonspor has shown interest in the centre-back, though he is not currently among the club’s top priorities.

Trabzonspor is looking to strengthen its defensive core and is focusing its efforts primarily on Chibuike Nwaiwu (Wolfsberg).

Adjetey appears to be more like a secondary option for the Turkish side if their €7 million offer for Nwaiwu falls through.

Galatasaray saw their last summer with a bid estimated at €10 million of the Ghanaian international rejected by the Swiss club.
