Kwasi Sibo, midfield partner of Thomas Partey in the Black Stars, has revealed the whole team is behind their embattled teammate.
The vice-captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Partey, is not the main topic of discussion at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Partey is facing seven counts of charges of rape and sexual assault, and due to that, he would be unable to feature in Ghana’s opener against Panama.
The former Arsenal star was denied a visa by the Canadian immigration authorities to enter into the country after failing to indicate pending court charges against him while filling out his visa application form.
Speaking to Max TV’s correspondent in Toronto, Thierry Nyann, Sibo insisted the whole team has seen what Partey is going through and is fully behind him.
