Kurt Okraku has celebrated the arrival of the new head coach of the Black Queens, Kim Lars Björkegren, in the country.
The Swedish coach has been appointed by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to replace Nora Häuptle, who turned down the chance to extend her stay with the Black Queens in favour of the Copper Queens of Zambia.
Björkegren is set to officially begin tenure with the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations to take off in July.
Ghana’s preparations for the tournament would see them taking on Morocco on February 21, 2025, at the Pere Jego Stadium in Casablanca.
