Date:

The latest Black Stars squad announcement for the 2025 Unity Cup has seen the return of Emmanuel Afena-Gyan, Majeed Ashimeru, and Abdul Samed Salis.

The former AS Roma star, Afena-Gyan, now with Juventus Next Gen, was called up by head coach Otto Addo after three years in the wilderness.

Ashimeru, after nursing a long-term injury after the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, featured in 25 games for Belgian giants Anderlecht.

While Abdul Samed Salis comes back to the squad on the back of a successful 2024/25 campaign, helping Sunderland qualify for the 2025/26 Premier League season.
