Tunisia Sack Lamouchi After Humiliating Defeat to Sweden

Date:

Sabri Lamouchi has been sacked as the head coach of Tunisia after an emotional post-match reaction.

Tunisia suffered a dismal loss in their opening match of this 2026 World Cup against Sweden (5-1). Sabri Lamouchi addressed the media in a press conference.

Last night, Tunisia were swept aside by Sweden with a 5-1 scoreline. The Carthage Eagles simply crumbled in the face of Sweden’s impressive attacking firepower.

With this defeat, the Tunisians have already made their campaign more complicated.

Modher Kebeir will take over for the rest of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
