Mohammed Kudus has completed his £55m move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a long-term contract on Thursday.
Kudus was the subject of huge interest from Premier League clubs in summer 2023 after a string of eye-catching displays in Ajax’s 2022-23 Champions League campaign before opting for West Ham.
The interests never died off as he kept impressing admirers with scintillating football and superb goals in his first season with the Hammers. His second season was not as successful as the first, as West Ham struggled throughout the 2024/25 season.
The new Tottenham Hotspur coach has been a long-time admirer of the Ghanaian international and finally landed his man after his club decided to break the bank.
“Kudus can add attacking threat to Spurs either from the right flank, cutting inside, or from a more central position,” former West Ham assistant Edu Rubio explained to the BBC.
