Self-acclaimed King of Dancehall music Shatta Wale has threatened to “kill” the career of the rising rapper Black Sherif.
According to him, his colleague did not intelligently react to his interview and urged him to watch the interview to exhibit “sense” in his judgement.
Expressing his frustration in an X post, Shatta Wale stated that Black Sherif allegedly reacted to a portion of his interview based on hearsay without watching the full content.
“I don’t understand why Black Sherif wouldn’t take the time to watch the full interview before jumping to conclusions,” he stated.
Shatta Wale contended that Black Sherif’s actions showed a lack of careful judgment, which he saw as disrespectful.
“If he had sense, he would have seen that I didn’t mean any harm in that interview. But if he continues like this, I’ll have no choice but to kill his career, and when I start, nobody, not even my own family, can stop me,” he threatened.
This is not the first time Shatta Wale has openly criticized colleagues he felt were undermining or misinterpreting his intentions.
He had always showcased himself as the Lord of the Industry, and his approach to remaining relevant in the industry, especially when he had no hitch, was attacking colleagues.
