A serial robber has been sentenced to 14 years in jail for stealing an iPhone 16 Pro Max.
The convict, Kolie Samuel, pleaded guilty to robbery and causing harm charges at the Ofaakor Circuit Court on Tuesday, July 15, 2025.
A swift intervention by the police resulted in the apprehension of Samuel in his Ngleshie Amanfro after he struck at 5:30am on July 10.
He violently attacked a woman, snatching her handbag containing a smartphone and a hefty sum of cash.
Aside from the iPhone 16 Pro Max, other items retrieved from his hideout are a Dell laptop, multiple mobile phones (iTel, Nokia, and Alcatel models), two pairs of AirPods, a gold necklace, three wristwatches, and ten memory cards.
Police also recovered a wallet containing a health insurance card bearing the name Kwapong Sahnan.
