The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced scheduled maintenance work to take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

The maintenance work will impact certain areas in the Greater Accra Region, the Tema Metropolitan Area, and the Central Region.

Though the ECG apologised in advance for the inconveniences the exercise may cause, it iterated much better and improved services for Ghanaians.

The maintenance exercise is set to start from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the following areas in Accra:

Accra East – Lakeside Community 1 and 5, New Legon, Abokobi Boi, Comet Estates, KNUST City Campus, parts of GIMPA Campus, parts of North Dzorwulu, parts of Tseaddo, and surrounding areas.

Accra West – Nkrumah Flats, Tesano Baptist Church, and surrounding areas.
