Samuel Owusu Discloses Why He Dislikes The Limelight

Date:

Accra — “I am a much more reserved person and do not really like to be exposed,” Samuel Owusu revealed while relaxing on the sofa on Max TV’s Max Morning Live.

The “Yenka Wo Tie” crooner made this statement when he was asked why for years in his music career there has been no properly produced music video.

He confirms it was his own personal decision not to shoot a music video since he does not really want to be exposed. He says he believes once you live a simple life, you can fit into any situation.

The highlife legend mentioned that popular highlife musicians like Akosua Agyapong and Sherifa Gunu requested a collaboration with him, but it failed to materialise because of systems that don’t support some artistes.

“I believe there are people who are benefiting from our ignorance,” he affirmed. He says that musicians do not make money, but producers do.
