Unai Emery has signed a five-year contract extension with Aston Villa after a historic 2023–24 Premier League season.
The former Arsenal manager led Villa to the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League by finishing fourth in the league standings.
Emery, 52, finished seventh with Midland Club in the 2022–23 season, and it has been improvement after improvement.
The Spaniard also led the club to the semifinals of the UEFA Conference League, crashing out to Olympiacos in Greece.
“I am very happy to take this step and the responsibility of leading this club,” said Emery.
“There’s a great chemistry in Aston Villa. And the element of the fans’ support also makes the difference to feel like home.
“We are really excited to continue this journey with no limits to our dreams,” he added.
