The Black Challenge of Ghana has made the nation proud once again by beating Morocco to retain the African Amputee Football Cup of Nations (AAFCON) title.
Coach Obeng named a strong lineup, with Razak Siedu starting in goal, Richard Arthur Opentil (CP), Emmanuel Allotey, Fuseini Iddi, Mubarik Mohammed , Hamza Mohammed, and Yussif Yahaya as outfield players.
Ghana fell behind just fourteen minutes into the final. The Ghanaians battled hard to restore parity through Mubarik Mohammed from the penalty spot.
Mubarak grabbed his second as the game traveled into extra time to clinch Ghana’s second AAFCON title.
The team is expected to touch down at Kotoka International Airport on Tuesday at 11:20 a.m. via Ethiopia Airline.
