Flood hits Accra again due to the heavy downpour this morning leaving people stranded as they struggled to find their way to their work places. Floods have almost come to live with us at the slightest sight of rains due to a heavily poor drainiage system.
Over the years, lives have been lost and properties destroyed due to the heavy downpours, and caution should have been taken by now to bring an end to this happening.
This early morning’s rain has flooded most part of Accra such as, Best Point Area on the Achimota Nsawam Road, Spintex Road, the Kaneshie stretch of roads towards Accra, Circle and some parts of Dansoman, even the prime areas of East Legon.
The situation resulted in vehicular crowding as some vehicles were unable to pass through the flood making life all the more unbearable.
Is this going to be narrative for how long?
