The countdown to the Odwira Festival boxing event has entered its final stage, with PKO Boxing’s three fighters completing their weigh-in ahead of Saturday’s bouts.
Joseph “The Humble” Commodor, Hamza Muhammad “Tank Hand” and Rahman Lokko went through the weigh-in on Friday at the Attor Quarshie Gym in Jamestown, Accra.
Commodor is set to meet Sani Yidana Kugblie and will be seeking another strong performance after his fifth-round TKO victory over Emmanuel Allotey.
Hamza Muhammad has been paired with John Oblitey Commey. The boxer will enter the contest after claiming his maiden professional victory against Benya Bee, stopping him in the first round at the Homowo Fight Night.
Meanwhile, PKO juvenile boxer Rahman Lokko faces Benjamin Ankrah.
Lokko’s last outing ended in defeat after Prince Attor secured a 2-1 decision from the three judges.
PKO Boxing will also have its current Africa Boxing League Light Heavyweight champion, Prince Kamaldeen Mohammed, as part of its stable, highlighting the championship credentials within the outfit.
The fighters have completed their weigh-in and will now prepare for the final showdown in Akropong on Saturday.
