Commuters of the Nsawam-Pokuase off the Accra-Kumasi Highway are beseeching President John Dramani Mahama to address its deplorable state.
Hon. Kwame Governs Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, indicated that work on the project will resume following the settlement of outstanding payments.
Speaking to TV3’s Naa Ashokor, a bus driver said that the fare had to be doubled due to the poor condition of the roads, which damages vehicles.
Passengers implored His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to help them since they couldn’t afford the escalating fares.
